Clothes Moth Treatment
Treatment includes fogging the affected areas of the home to provide an initial knockdown of active moths, along with the placement of monitoring lures (glue monitors) to help track and reduce activity.
For treatment to be effective, the source of the infestation must be addressed by the client. Items made from natural fibers—including wool, silk, cotton, and similar materials—as well as oriental rugs, quilts, and stored textiles, must be removed from exposed areas. These items should be placed in sealed garment bags or taken to a professional dry cleaner for proper treatment.
Failure to remove or properly treat the source materials may result in continued moth activity and limit the effectiveness of the service.
